Responsibilities
- Drive an HGV Class 2 curtain sided vehicle and complete a route with typically 4 to 8 drops each day.
- The vehicle will be loaded for you; you will oversee loading to ensure it is loaded to your preference.
- Some drops will be unloaded for you; most of the time you will need to unload using the Moffett attached.
Schedule
- Shifts are usually 06:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday. This ongoing role could lead to a permanent position.
Hours and pay
- £17.00 per hour paid weekly every Friday.
- Working Monday to Friday starting at 06:30 and usually 8 to 9 hours a day.
- Optional overtime on Saturdays paid at an enhanced rate.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence, with category C.
- Valid Tachograph and CPC.
- Good level of customer service.
- Safety boots and high visibility clothing.
- An understanding of health and safety.
