You will be employed as a relief driver in an HGV Class 2 curtain sided vehicle and tasked with a route delivering to regular customers, usually completing between 4 to 10 drops each day. The load is palletised and will normally need to be unloaded using a pump truck on the tail lift, however sometimes can be unloaded by forklift for you.
Start times can vary between 5am to 7am depending on the route and a typical day would be 9 to 10 hours, working Tuesday to Friday.
As a relief driver you will only be required to work Tuesday to Friday and your main role will be driving the truck to cover extra routes and any holiday or sickness. When there are no deliveries, you will be required to work in the Warehouse to pick orders or sort stock.

Hours and pay
Β£16.00 per hour paid weekly every Friday.
Working Tuesday to Friday starting between 5am to 7am and usually working 9 to 10 hours a day.
Optional overtime on Saturdays paid at an enhanced rate.
Requirements
Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience.
Full UK driving licence, with category C.
Valid Tacho and CPC.
Good level of customer service.
Safety boots and high viz.
An understanding of health and safety.
The ability to complete heavy lifting when required.
