We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Shunter Drivers to work with a well-established logistics company based in Wolverhampton WV11, West Midlands. This is a great opportunity for ongoing, full-time work.
As a Class 1 Shunter Driver, you’ll be responsible for:
- Completing collections and deliveries, and shunting duties in the yard
- Operating Box trailers and shunting with the UNIT
- Ensuring all internal paperwork is completed
- Maintaining professional standards at all times
- High standard of safe systems of work
Hours & Pay:
- Start Times: Shifts 12:00 midday start till 9pm
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Shift Length: 8 Hours - 10 hours
- Pay Rates: £15.28ph, after 12 weeks: £16.36 plus £24.54 overtime after 40 hours
- Weekly pay every Friday
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence or Tug Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience with curtain-side trailers preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
