TEMP TO PERM! We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers to work with a well-established logistics company based in Tamworth (B77). This is a great opportunity for ongoing, full-time work delivering chilled, frozen, and ambient products across RDCs and retail stores.
As a Class 1 Driver, you’ll be responsible for:
- Completing 23 deliveries per day
- Operating curtain-side trailers, depending on the load
- Ensuring all paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately
- Maintaining professional standards and excellent customer service at all times
Hours & Pay:
- Start Times: Flexible early morning and afternoon starts
- Days: Monday to Friday (weekend work available)
- Shift Length: 10-12 hours per day
- Pay Rate: £17.00 - £19.00 per hour (PAYE)
- Weekly pay every Friday
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience
- Experience with curtain-side trailers preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
