We are currently recruiting for experienced Shunter Drivers to work with a well-established logistics company based in Wolverhampton WV11, West Midlands. This is a great opportunity for ongoing, full-time work.
As a Shunter Driver, you'll be responsible for:
- Completing trailer swaps around the yard
- Operating curtain-side or box trailers, depending on the load
- Ensuring all internal paperwork is completed
- Maintaining professional standards at all times
- High standard of safe systems of work
Hours & Pay for Yard Shunter Driver:
- Start Times: Shifts 12:00 midday start till 8pm
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Shift Length: 8 Hours
- Pay Rates: £16.00 P/H
- Weekly pay every Friday
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence or Tug Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience with curtain-side trailers preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
