HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Ascot (SL5). This is a temporary role but could lead to permanent, involving long and mid-distance work.
Your responsibilities as a HGV1 driver will include:
- Completing deliveries of water (no handball)
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards ensuring all the relevant paperwork is completed.
Requirements for the Class 1 driver:
- Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Strapping and Reversing competence
- New pass LGV1 Drivers welcome; training and support provided
- HGV LTD drivers welcome
Hours & Pay for the Class 1 HGV Driver:
- Start times between 6.00am - 07:00am
- Shifts: 10-12 hours depending on route
- PAYE Pay rate: £17.50 - £18.50 per hour
