We are currently recruiting Class 2 Drivers for an established client based in PE2 Peterborough, delivering construction and building materials to sites nationwide. This role offers consistent Monday to Friday work, competitive pay, and both day driving and tramping opportunities.
As a Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:
- Driving a Class 2 rigid vehicle
- Delivering building and construction materials to construction sites nationwide
- Completing 28 drops per shift, depending on distance and route
- Securing loads and following site safety procedures
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Completing delivery paperwork and PODs accurately
Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 04:00am and 08:00am
- Day work and tramping roles available
- £15.00 per hour (PAYE)
- Weekly pay
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Previous Class 2 delivery experience preferred
- Clean licence
