The Role
HireGiant are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 RoRo (Roll-on Roll-off) Driver to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering a high standard of service and safety.
Key Responsibilities for the HGV 2 RoRo Driver
- Operating a Class 2 RoRo vehicle for the delivery and collection of skips/containers
- Safely transporting waste and materials to and from customer sites
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- Completing relevant paperwork and complying with company procedures
- Adhering to all driving laws and health & safety regulations
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous RoRo or skip experience preferred (training can be provided)
- Good knowledge of local routes and road networks
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hours & Pay Rates for the Class 2 Driver (PAYE):
- Monday to Friday shift pattern - 05.00-06:00am Start
- Shift Length - 10-12 hours
- £15.00 - 17.08 per hour PAYE - (Monday to Friday)
