Based Near Chellaston Derbyshire - PAYE & LTD Drivers Welcome!
The Role:
HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Derbyshire, DE73. This is an ongoing role doing 1 - 2 deliveries per day, you may have the odd collection. This is long distance work so you will be required to stay away in the truck all week.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing deliveries of general haulage to businesses & RDCs
- Driving the class 1 curtainside trailer in a safe manner, no handball, this is a nice haulage role
- Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards
Requirements for the Class 1 driver:
- Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Strapping and Reversing competence
- New pass LGV1 Drivers welcome, training and support provided
- HGV LTD drivers welcome
Hours & Pay for the Class 1 HGV Driver:
- Start time 07:00am
- Shifts: 10-12 hours depending on route
- PAYE Pay rate: £190.00 per day
- LTD Pay Rate: £210.00 per day
- Night out fee £22.00 per night out
