Here at HireGiant we are currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers for a well-established logistics client based in Gloucester. This is an opportunity offering weekday work, clean box-trailer driving, and an enhanced pay structure after 12 weeks.
As a Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:
- Delivering goods to retail stores, RDCs, and distribution depots
- Operating box trailer articulated vehicles
- Completing trunking, store deliveries, and depot-to-depot runs
- Ensuring all PODs and delivery paperwork are completed accurately
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
No handball, clean, organised Class 1 work.
Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Friday work
- Start times between 11:00am - 11:30am
- 12 hour shifts
- £15.28 per hour PAYE
- After 12 weeks: pay rise + overtime up to £24.50
- Weekly pay every Friday
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Experience delivering to stores or RDCs desirable
- Maximum 6 points (no DR, DD, IN)
- Safety boots & hi-vis
