Here at HireGiant Ltd we are looking for Parcel Sorters to work for one of our busiest clients. It's an international client with this site being based in Upper Poppleton, York. The parcel sorters will be working on a night shift. This is a great opportunity for people looking for regular work, with ongoing shifts available for reliable and hardworking individuals. The Role As a parcel sorter, your duties will include * Loading and Unloading parcels from vehicles * Sorting parcels accuratley by postcode and delivery route * Moving parcels around the depot * Scanning parcels using handheld equipment * Preparing parcels for dispatch * Working as part of a busy team to meet deadlines * Following all health & safety procedures Shift Times Start times of 23:00 - This will be working 8-12 hours depening on volume Pay Rate £12.71 * Weekly Pay * Opportunites for additional hours What we're looking for * Reliable and punctual * Physically fir and comfortable handling parcels * Able to work night shifts * Happy working in a fast paced environment * Team players with good work ethic Previous warehouse, parcel sorting, logistics or loading/unloading experience is advantageous but not essential.
