We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers to work with a well-established logistics company based in WF9. Is this the next step in your career? Find out if you are the right candidate by reading through the complete overview below.

As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for:

  • Delivering goods to the clients' customers. This is a general haulage role.
  • Tramping - nights out - night away - tramper.
  • Operating a Class 1 Curtain Sided trailer.
  • Delivering general haulage.
  • Ensuring all paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately.
  • Maintaining professional standards and excellent customer service at all times.

Hours & Pay:

  • Start Times: 05:00 - 08:00
  • Days: Monday to Friday (weekend work available)
  • Shift Length: 10-13 hour days
  • Pay Rate: £18.00ph PAYE and £25.00 night out
  • Holiday accrued per week
  • Weekly pay every Friday

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
  • Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience
  • Experience with curtain-side trailers preferred
  • Ability to operate a pump truck and tail lift safely
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
