Class 1 Driver - Guaranteed HGV Work EVERY Week. HireGiant is currently looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to work with our client based Nr Junction 15a M1 South, Northampton (NN4 Postcode). This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing, full-time LGV work with the potential to become a permanent position! Temp to perm opportunity with a pay rise when permanent.
Work will be either simple RDC to DC trunking to ensure the products network runs smoothly. From time to time, you may have to do an emergency store run to collect overstock or low stock replenishment.
- Trunking runs using a LGV curtain or box trailer vehicle
- Completing HGV vehicle checks
- Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck
- Working Monday to Friday (optional weekend shifts available)
- Starting around 06:00am daily - shifts between 10-12 hours
Requirements:
- HGV Class 1 licence entitlement
- A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
Hours & Pay Rates (PAYE):
- Monday to Friday shift pattern - 06:00-07:00 Start
- Shift Length - 10-12 hours
- £18.50 - £24.50 per hour (Monday to Friday)
- Weekly pay every Friday
