HireGiant is currently looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to work with our client based near Junction 15a M1 South, Northampton (NN4 Postcode). This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing, full-time LGV work with the potential to become a permanent position!
Responsibilities include:
- Simple RDC to DC trunking to ensure the products network runs smoothly.
- Occasional emergency store runs to collect overstock or low stock replenishment.
- Trunking runs using a LGV curtain or box trailer vehicle.
- Completing HGV vehicle checks.
- Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck.
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday (optional weekend shifts available).
- Starting around 06:00am daily - shifts between 10-12 hours.
Requirements:
- HGV Class 1 licence entitlement.
- A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
Hours & Pay Rates (PAYE):
- Monday to Friday shift pattern - 06:00-07:00 Start.
- Shift Length - 10-12 hours.
- £18.50 - £24.50 per hour (Monday to Friday).
