HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Manchester M32. This is an ongoing role doing 2-3 deliveries per day, with the possibility of the odd collection/back load. This involves long and mid-distance work.
Your responsibilities as a HGV1 driver will include:
- Completing deliveries of general haulage to businesses & RDCs
- Driving the class 1 curtain side trailer in a safe manner - no handball, this is a nice haulage role
- Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards
Requirements for the Class 1 driver:
- Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Strapping and Reversing competence
- New pass LGV1 Drivers welcome - training and support provided
- HGV LTD drivers welcome
Hours & Pay for the Class 1 HGV Driver:
- Start times between 19.00pm - 20.00pm
- Shifts: 10-12 hours depending on route
- PAYE Pay rate: £17.00P/H
