HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional HGV 2 Driver to work with our client based in Leicester. This is an ongoing role leading to a permanent opportunity for the right driver. You will be doing 8-10 deliveries per day, delivering boxed meat to Butchers and Pubs across Leicester.
Your responsibilities as a HGV 2 driver will include:
- Completing deliveries to pubs and butchers
- Driving the class 2 curtainside trailer in a safe manner
- Responsible for handball of all meat deliveries either hanging meat or in boxes
- Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards as this is a customer facing role.
Requirements for the Class 2 driver:
- Valid HGV 2 licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Strapping and Reversing competence
- New pass HGV 2 Drivers welcome; training and support provided
Hours & Pay for the Class 2 LGV Driver:
- Start time 05:00am - 07:00am
- Shifts: 8-10 hours depending on route
- PAYE Pay rate: £16.00 - £17.00 P/H
