HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Colchester (CO6). This is an ongoing role doing 1-2 drops per day, involving long and mid-distance work.
Your responsibilities as a HGV1 driver will include:
- Completing deliveries of water to businesses.
- Driving the class 1 Tanker in a safe manner.
- Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately.
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Requirements for the Class 1 driver:
- Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card.
- Strapping and Reversing competence.
- New pass LGV1 Drivers welcome; training and support provided.
- HGV LTD drivers welcome.
Hours & Pay for the Class 1 HGV Driver:
- Start times between 6.00am - 07:00am.
- Shifts: 10-12 hours depending on route.
- PAYE Pay rate: £17.50 - £18.50.
