HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional HGV 2 Driver to work with our client based in Leicester. This is an ongoing role leading to a permanent opportunity for the right driver. You will be doing 8-10 deliveries per day, delivering boxed meat to Butchers and Pubs across Leicester.

Your responsibilities as a HGV 2 driver will include:

  • Completing deliveries to pubs and butchers
  • Driving the class 2 curtainside trailer in a safe manner
  • Responsible for handball of all meat deliveries either hanging meat or in boxes

Requirements for the Class 2 driver:

  • Valid HGV 2 licence
  • Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
  • New pass HGV 2 Drivers welcome; training and support provided

Hours & Pay for the Class 2 LGV Driver:

  • Shifts: 8-10 hours depending on route
  • PAYE Pay rate: £16.00 - £17.00 P/H
  • Weekly pay, every Friday
  • Ongoing, consistent work with a reputable company
