HireGiant is currently looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to work with our client based in the Loughborough area of Leicestershire LE11. This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing, full-time LGV work with the potential to become a permanent position!
Temp to perm opportunity with a pay rise when permanent. Work will be either simple collection and delivery work to ensure the products network runs smoothly. From time to time, you may have to do some multidrop to help the radial runs that are falling behind due to high workload. Some handball may be required from time to time, but it's mainly pump truck or FLT unloaded.
Responsibilities include:
- Trunking runs using an LGV curtain or box trailer vehicle
- Completing HGV vehicle checks
- Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck
Working Monday to Friday (optional weekend shifts available) starting around 06:00am daily - shifts between 10-12 hours.
Requirements:
- HGV Class 2 licence entitlement
- A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
Hours & Pay Rates (PAYE):
- Monday to Friday shift pattern - 06:00-07:00 Start
- Shift Length - 10-12 hours
- £16.50 - £22.50 per hour (Monday to Friday)
- Weekly pay every Friday
