We’re currently recruiting for experienced Shunter Driver to work with a well-established logistics company based in Raunds, Northampton. This is a great opportunity for ongoing, full-time work.
As a Shunter Driver, you’ll be responsible for:
- Completing trailer swaps around the yard
- Operating curtain-side or Box trailers, depending on the load
- Ensuring all internal paperwork is completed
- Maintaining professional standards at all times
- High standard of safe systems of work
Hours & Pay for Yard shunt driver:
- Start Times: Shifts 1.00am - Finish
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Shift Length: 8-10 Hours
- Pay Rates: £19.08 P/H
- Weekly pay every Friday
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence Or Tug Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience with curtain-side trailers preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
