HireGiant is currently looking for an experienced HGV 2 Driver to work with our client based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing LGV work. The work is general haulage and some pallet network runs.
The Role:
- Making goods deliveries using a LGV2 Box or curtain vehicle.
- Work is simple B2B and some C&D work (5-7 hits per day).
- Ensuring delivery is recovered and paperwork is in order.
- Completing HGV vehicle checks.
- Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck.
- Working Monday to Friday (optional weekend shifts available).
- Starting around 06:00 am daily - shifts between 9-12 hours.
Requirements:
- Class 2 licence entitlement.
- A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
- Safety boots and Hi-Vis vest.
Hours & Pay Rates for the Class 2 Driver (PAYE):
- Monday to Friday shift pattern - 06:00 am Start.
- Shift Length - 10-12 hours.
- £15.00 - £17.08 per hour – PAYE (Monday to Friday).
