HireGiant is currently looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Barry, Nr Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing, full-time LGV work with the potential to become a permanent position!
The Role:
- Making goods deliveries using a LGV curtain side vehicle
- Work is simple C&D work with 4-5 drops per day
- Ensuring delivery is recovered and paperwork is in order
- Completing HGV vehicle checks
- Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck
- Working Monday to Friday (optional weekend shifts available)
- Starting around 06:00am daily - shifts between 10-12 hours
Requirements:
- Class 1 licence entitlement
- A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
- Safety boots and Hi-Vis vest
Hours & Pay Rates (PAYE):
- Monday to Friday shift pattern - 06:00-07:00 Start
- Shift Length - 10-12 hours
- £16-17.50 per hour (Monday to Friday)
