We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Shunter Drivers to work with a well-established logistics company based in Wolverhampton WV11, West Midlands. This is a great opportunity for ongoing, full-time work.

As a Class 1 Shunter Driver, you'll be responsible for:

  • Completing collections and deliveries, and shunting duties in the yard
  • Operating Box trailers and shunting with the UNIT
  • Ensuring all internal paperwork is completed
  • Maintaining professional standards at all times
  • High standard of safe systems of work

Hours & Pay:

  • Start Times: Shifts 12:00 midday start till 9pm
  • Days: Monday to Friday
  • Shift Length: 8 Hours - 10 hours
  • Pay Rates: £15.28ph, after 12 weeks: £16.36 plus £24.54 overtime after 40 hours
  • Weekly pay every Friday

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence or Tug Licence
  • Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
  • Experience with curtain-side trailers preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
