HireGiant are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Transport Supervisor for a well-established company based in Derby. This is a part-time role for anyone that wants to pick up extra work or is looking for a reduced workload.
The Role:
This client is one of the leading companies within the food distribution sector and is well known for delivering chilled and frozen food all over the UK.
Requirements for the role:
- Hand out paperwork to drivers
- Deal with emails - computer literate
- Collate return paperwork
- Deal with any delivery issues
- Source agency cover when needed for permanent staff
- Update rotas if any changes have arisen
- Source transport and plan reactive loads
- Able to operate and input data on a computer
- Must have C+E licence
- Some general shunting if needed
Hours and Pay of the Transport Supervisor:
Working days (19 hours a week):
- Saturday 06:00am to 16:00pm
- Sunday 21:00pm to 06:00am
Pay rate:
- Traffic Supervisor (£360 a week part-time / £1560 per month)
- Saturday: £18.00 per hour
- Sunday: £20.00 per hour
