We are recruiting Class 1 Drivers for a 24/7 logistics operation offering weekday shifts and consistent weekend shifts. Drivers will operate fridge trailers; some experience with fridge trailers and temperatures would be helpful. The HGV1 will be loaded ready to go. The LGV 1 driver will be required to transport stock from Depos and RDCs, there is no handball with this role.
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be:
- Operating a HGV 1 truck and trailer
- Completing 23 drops/collections on distance routes
- Completing PODs and paperwork accurately
- Conducting daily vehicle checks
- Working within a 24/7 operation with flexible shifts
Hours & Pay:
- Weekend shifts available (Saturday & Sunday)
- Monday to Friday work also available
- 8 - 12 hour shifts
- £19.00 - £21.00 per hour PAYE
- Up to £24 per hour over the weekend
- Weekly pay every Friday
- Ongoing, long-term work
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid CPC & Digi Tacho
- Safety boots & hi-vis
