HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Daventry (NN11), this will be an A2B job.
Your responsibilities as a HGV1 driver will include:
- Completing deliveries of general haulage to businesses & RDCs
- Driving the class 1 curtainside trailer in a safe manner
- No handball, this is a nice haulage role
- Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards
Requirements for the Class 1 driver:
- Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Strapping and Reversing competence
- New pass LGV1 Drivers welcome – training and support provided
- HGV LTD drivers welcome
Hours & Pay for the Class 1 HGV Driver:
- Start times between 6.00am – 7.00am
- Shifts: 10-12 hours depending on route
- PAYE Pay rate: £17.50 - £18.50 per hour
