Class 2 Driver - Temp to Perm!
The Role: HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional HGV 2 Driver to work with our client based in Corby. This is an ongoing role leading to a permanent opportunity for the right driver. You will be doing 8-10 deliveries per day.
Your responsibilities as a HGV 2 driver will include:
Completing deliveries to pubs and butchers
Driving the class 2 curtain side trailer in a safe manor
Responsible of handball of all meat deliveries either hanging meat or in boxes
Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
Maintaining excellent customer service standards as this is a customer facing role.
Requirements for the Class 2 driver: Valid HGV 2 licence
Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
Strapping and Reversing competence
New pass HGV 2 Drivers welcome – training and support provided
Hours & Pay for the Class 2 LGV Driver: Start time 05:00am - 07:00am
Shifts: 8-10 hours depending on route
PAYE Pay rate: £15.00 - £16.00PH
