We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Tramper Drivers for one of our established clients based in WV4, Wolverhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing tramping work, consistent routes, and stable Monday to Friday shifts.
The Role:
- Driving Class 1 flatbed vehicles
- Delivering building and construction materials to construction sites and trade locations
- Securing loads safely using straps and following load security procedures
- Completing nationwide and regional tramping runs
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Maintaining professional standards when representing the client on-site
This is straightforward flatbed work with planned routes and long-term consistency.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience
- Previous tramping experience essential
- Flatbed and load strapping experience preferred
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points on your licence
Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Friday
- 06:00am starts
- Tramping work with nights out required
- Ongoing, long-term work
- Rate: £17ph with £23 per night out
