HireGiant is currently looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Birmingham (B35). This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing work completing general haulage deliveries across the UK! This is ongoing LGV work with the potential to become a permanent position.
The Role:
- Making goods deliveries using a HGV1 curtain side vehicle
- Must have at least 6 months HGV experience
- Ensuring delivery is recovered and paperwork is in order
- Completing HGV vehicle checks
- Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck
- Working Monday to Friday (optional weekend shifts available)
- Starting around 07:00am daily - shifts around 8-10 hours
Requirements:
- Class 2 licence entitlement - CAT C
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
- Safety boots and Hi-Vis vest
Hours & Pay Rates (PAYE):
- Monday to Friday shift pattern
- 07:00 Start
- Shift Length - 8-10 hours
- Up to £18.00- £20.00 per hour shift dependant (Monday to Friday)
