Here at HireGiant we are currently recruiting Class 2 ADR Drivers for a well-established company based in Wolverhampton (WV10). This is an excellent opportunity for experienced ADR drivers looking for stable, ongoing work with a reputable operator in the environmental and waste management sector.

As a Class 1 ADR Driver, your duties will include:

  • Collecting and delivering waste materials including old fridges, freezers, paint, and hazardous waste
  • Driving Class 1 vehicles, with potential to assist on Class 2 work where required
  • Completing collections and deliveries across the Midlands and surrounding areas
  • Ensuring all ADR regulations and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Completing paperwork, waste transfer notes, and PODs accurately
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
  • Representing the company professionally at customer sites

Hours & Pay:

  • Start times typically around 06:00am
  • Shifts generally 10-12 hours
  • £19.00 per hour PAYE
  • Weekly pay
  • Ongoing, consistent work for reliable drivers

Requirements:

To be considered for this Class 1 ADR Driver role, you must have:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
  • ADR Licence (essential)
  • Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
  • Experience driving Class 1 vehicles
  • Willingness to carry out mixed Class 1 / Class 2 duties if required
  • Maximum 6 points on licence (no DR, DD, or IN)
  • Safety boots and hi-vis vest
  • A professional, reliable attitude
