HireGiant are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV vehicle technician for a well-established business based in Enslow, Oxfordshire.
- To carry out scheduled servicing and maintenance of HGV fleet in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations.
- To prepare vehicles for MOT tests and take them to the test site.
- To undertake roadside maintenance/repairs.
- To dispose of waste oils, fluids, and scrap in the correct manner.
- To wear correct clothing and PPE as issued by the company.
- To be able to work alone without supervision but help in other areas of the business as required.
- To undertake any job-specific training.
- To observe the additional requirements of the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
- To ensure the business/operations are performed in accordance with company policies, guidelines, procedures, and the employee handbook.
- To help maintain company security and prevent fraudulent activity taking place.
Hours and pay: The hourly rate of pay is £15.72; this is made up of 40 hours per week paid at basic and 7.5 hours per week paid at time and a half. The working hours are week 1 Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm and week 2 Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm.
