The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 € per year.

14.8 hours per week (2 days per week) – (possible day combination is Tues & Thurs or Thurs & Friday or Tues & Friday) - up to £39,714.22 pro rata.

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Art & Design Lecturer to join them on a fixed term basis, to cover maternity leave. You will deliver L1 UAL Diploma in Art, Design & Media, L2 UAL Diploma in Art & Design and L3 UAL Applied General Extended Diploma in Art & Design.

About the role:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential.
  • Assess, review and record learner progress.
  • Maintain course and learner records.
  • Embed employment skills into the curriculum courses.

To fulfil the role of Art & Design Lecturer you will have:

  • Degree in relevant Art & Design subject (Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration or Photography).
  • Experience of teaching in FE a distinct advantage.
  • Teaching qualifications – or be prepared to work towards this with their support.
  • Recent graduates and people looking for a career change may be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and be skilled in the use of IT.
