  • People Advisor role, on a

12-month fixed term contract, working for a social housing / housing development organisation.

In this key role, you will deliver a professional, people-focused service across the organisation, partnering directly with key stakeholders in departments across the organisation, to drive success.

This is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home each week.

You will work one office day in each of 3 offices

Liverpool city centre, St Helens and Warrington . To make sure you're spending time with each team, every week.

  • What You ll Be Doing
  • Managing ER cases, providing expert advice to managers, and ensuring alignment with employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Leading on attendance management (including return-to-work and long-term cases) and supporting performance management, capability, and development plans.
  • Supporting recruitment, retention, apprenticeship programmes, and talent development across the business.
  • Contributing to People Strategy delivery, corporate initiatives, learning needs identification, and transformation projects.
  • Partnering productively with trade unions and building collaborative relationships with leadership teams.
  • Maintaining accurate HR data records, efficient processes, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and equality standards.
  • What We re Looking For
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards), or equivalent practical experience if not qualified.
  • Proven experience in a People/HR Advisory role, handling a broad spectrum of employee relations matters.
  • Strong background in supporting managers through performance, absence, and conduct processes.
  • High level of IT literacy and confidence using modern HR systems and data.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Excellent workload management skills, with strong attention to detail and data integrity.

You ll join a collaborative, supportive HR function where your expertise will directly contribute to the People Strategy.
