Responsibilities
- Clean end of term, summer lets, pre‑season and re‑setting of houses for the start of the academic year.
- Multi‑site role, primarily working at Great Malvern with possible duties at other campus sites.
Hours of Work
- 7‑week temporary summer contract (13 July 2026 to 30 August 2026).
- 2 × 20 hours per week contract – generally worked over 4–5 days each week (with possibility of additional hours).
- 10 × 10 hours per week contract – generally worked over 2–3 days each week (with possibility of additional hours).
- Flexibility required: must be able to work at least four weekend days over the seven‑week contract.
Qualities & Experience
- Can‑do attitude and ability to understand and follow instructions to complete work within required timeframe, either within a team or independently.
- Awareness of health and safety procedures.
- Polite, friendly and professional manner.
- Punctuality with good time‑management skills and a flexible approach to working hours.
Requirements
- Proof of identity, right to work in the UK and relevant qualifications will be required during the selection process.
- References will be requested from shortlisted candidates and may involve questions about past disciplinary actions or allegations related to behaviour with children.
- All shortlisted candidates will undergo child‑protection screening and an Enhanced DBS check.
- Candidate must be prepared to provide references and may be subject to an online search during due diligence.
