We are seeking an experienced Property Lawyer to join our Legal Shared Services team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will provide high-quality legal advice and manage a varied caseload of residential and commercial property matters, supporting the Council in maximising the value and effective use of its property assets.

The role will involve handling property transactions while providing support to senior conveyancing solicitors as required. You will play a key role in delivering practical, timely legal solutions on matters with significant strategic and financial importance to the Council. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of property matters that directly support Council services and communities. You'll be part of a supportive legal team, applying your expertise to meaningful work that makes a real difference.

You will be a qualified legal professional with experience in property law and conveyancing transactions, capable of managing your own caseload and delivering practical, solution-focused advice. You will enjoy building positive working relationships, finding practical solutions to complex issues, and taking ownership of your work while being part of a supportive team.
