We are looking for a versatile Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team at this specialist manufacturing site in Ramsey - midway between Huntingdon and Peterborough.

In this role, you’ll be the primary contact for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, ensuring the plant and equipment stay in top shape to keep production moving. If you enjoy a mix of electrical and mechanical work, from PLC fault finding to fixing conveyors and gearboxes, this is the perfect role for you.

  • Getting stuck into both electrical and mechanical breakdowns to keep downtime to a minimum.
  • Diagnosing and fixing faults in PLC systems, control panels, motors, and sensors.
  • Handling mechanical repairs on conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and drive systems.
  • Helping to install and set up new machinery and automation upgrades.

A time-served Engineering apprenticeship or a similar qualification is required.

Solid experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong technical skills in both electrical fault finding and mechanical repairs.

The ability to read and understand electrical schematics and technical drawings.

A logical approach to solving complex problems when a machine goes down.

Friendly working hours Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30.

Generous holiday 25 days per year plus 8 bank holidays.

Paid overtime 1 in 4 Saturdays.
