Job Details

• Title: Senior Java Developer / Java Developer / Software Engineer
• Location: HQ in Oxfordshire, remote with occasional office visits in Oxford area; suitable for London or home counties area.
• Salary: £60K Basic + Benefits package
• Employment type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Lead & mentor a small development team. You may have some experience already, or a want to progress in your career to a more senior / lead type role.
• Proven experience in designing and building scalable, and maintainable applications using Java (Java 8+, with experience or a strong desire to work with Java 21) and Spring Boot.
• Understanding and hands-on experience with a range of core AWS services.
• Software Development Best Practices: A strong commitment to writing clean, well-tested, secure, and maintainable code. Proficient with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Desirable

• Experience working with teams in building web applications using React and/or JavaScript on the client-side.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker & IaC tools like AWS CloudFormation.
