Job Description
Do you love actual recruitment of people into great jobs but find the constant new business cold calling and "building your desk with new clients" a gut wrenching, thankless task that you'd rather just not do? (I get it - we’ve all been there)
Then come & work for hireful and get paid just the same for mostly doing the “non-sales” side of recruitment! (You know, the actual recruitment)
Our Recruitment Consultants are much more akin to Talent Attraction experts, than traditional "rec cons" and most of your time will be spent on candidate attraction, candidate experience and placing candidates with our clients, as a trusted recruitment partner.
We partner closely with our clients and work to deliver both exceptional candidate AND client experiences, by delivering the talent they are looking for.
Obviously, there will be some "business development" & we will need a strong commercial mindset, but the vast majority of our agencies business (like, 98%) comes from our ATS client base - so it's all warm, with clients that know us & already use our software.
We are hireful & our mission is to be the most helpful recruitment technology company in the UK.
The important stuff:
Where you will live: Ideally close-ish to our lovely, converted barn offices in the Northamptonshire countryside (Wellingborough / Milton Keynes area). As a team, we’ve flip-flopped on the whole “office vs remote” debate, but have concluded that some office time isin fact welcome and very useful. So, hybrid working it is. 3 days / 2 days (flexible on which way around this is)
What you will earn: A basic salary of £25K - £35K depending on your recruitment experience, with uncapped, tiered commission of up to 30% on all billings (paid when the candidate starts; no waiting for invoices to be paid). Our best performing senior consultants will earn £90K+ in a good year. Realistically, 1st year for a relatively experienced person, expect +£15k - £20K in commission.
Benefits you'll get: Generous holiday allowance that increases with service (plus the option to buy more), private healthcare cover, pension, personal accident insurance, staff discounts, long service awards, paid volunteering days, free onsite parking, salary sacrifice schemes for bicycles and electric vehicles.
Still not convinced enough to follow this up? Then how about:
- A most excellent team. Amazingly, we all actually like each other & go for nice meals or (not to strenuous) activities every now & then.
- Our tenure is amazing for a recruitment agency team. Our team like to stick around!
- An excellent commission scheme. Scaling up to 30%, with realistic, ramping up targets for your first 6 months or so, plus top-up schemes for hitting quarterly targets vs monthly.
- Virtually no cold calling! Yes, you heard me... due to the way our business works, as the agency arm of a recruitment software company, steady stream of referrals, roles just dropping in to our inbox & introductions galore.
- We are recruiters. We are not salespeople. Candidate experience, client experience and filling roles with excellent talent is what we do best & our focus.
I could go on with all the cheesy stuff about the pool table in the office, awesome social events, free tea and coffee... but I think you get the picture now.
If you're a Recruiter / Talent Acquisition person, who is looking for their next role... then we’d love to hear from you – so hit that apply now button, message me, call me, or just turn up at the office (Actually, don’t do that; it’s a bit creepy)
