Fancy joining the UK’s leading anaerobic digestion operator, and play a vital role in supporting renewable energy generation and sustainable waste management? We are looking for a proactive and safety-focused Plant Operator to support the efficient day-to-day running of one of our Agri AD sites. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same.

You will be responsible for:

  • The safe reception, manoeuvring and offloading of feedstock deliveries
  • Operating processing equipment
  • Monitoring plant performance through SCADA systems
  • Supporting maintenance activities to maximise operational efficiency and power generation
  • Assisting with planned preventative maintenance
  • Site housekeeping
  • Process safety controls
  • Accurate operational reporting

Working closely with the Site Manager and wider operations teams, you will contribute to maintaining the highest standards across health & safety, environmental compliance and operational performance. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and efficient site environment.

Location: Tornagrain, Inverness

Salary: £30k - £32k base salary plus benefits

Hours: 42 hours per week - working a shift pattern

The ideal candidate will have experience within plant operations, construction, agriculture, waste, recycling, manufacturing or heavy industrial environments. A forklift licence, banksman training or mechanical maintenance knowledge would be advantageous, although training can be provided. Most importantly, you will be reliable, safety conscious, flexible and motivated to continuously improve.
