About Our Client

Our client is a leading UK charity focused on funding research into the prevention, treatment and management of a serious long-term health condition. Their vision is a future where everyone lives free from that condition, and for many decades the research they fund has been making an impact. But the condition is increasing, as are the factors contributing to it, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and obesity, making their work more essential than ever.

Our client works with clinicians and scientists across the UK, funding and facilitating research into all areas of the condition. They collaborate with partners across the public, private and third sectors to prevent the condition and drive innovation to transform treatments.

Over the last ten years they have invested many millions of pounds into research. They lobby governments and decision makers to change policy and practice to ensure that the millions of people living with all stages of the condition in the UK have access to the most effective care and treatment, and to make it a priority.

Most importantly, they also work closely with patients, ensuring their voice is heard and is at the centre of everything they do, from deciding which research to invest in to how they plan their priorities and their work across the charity. Those patient contributions are vital, always helping them and their partners to understand what life is like with the condition, always ensuring they see the patient behind the treatment and always reminding them that behind every statistic and every number is a person – the patients and the carers who inspire their mission and push them forward to make a difference and change the future of the condition.

Our client is committed to providing equal opportunities for everyone and encourages applications from all sections of the community.

You may have experience in the following: Supporter Care Officer, Customer Service Administrator, Donor Care Officer, Supporter Services Officer, Fundraising Administrator, Gift Aid Officer, Finance Administrator, Customer Care Advisor, Donations Officer, Charity Administrator, Not for Profit, NFP, Third Sector, Charities, etc.
