Are you an organised administrator with an interest in recruitment? We’re looking for a Recruitment Administrator to support our busy Recruitment Advisors in delivering an efficient, candidate and hiring manager recruitment process across our UK-wide business. Based in Peterborough, you will be supporting a busy team of four recruitment advisors, as part of the wider HR team. We offer a welcoming culture that values teamwork whilst delivering exceptional service to the business. This role offers a hybrid working pattern with three days in the office and two days remote.
Main tasks:
- Manage day-to-day recruitment administration, including advertising vacancies and coordinating interviews with Hiring Managers and the Recruitment team
- Ensure recruitment requests are processed accurately with all necessary approvals before interviews take place
- Maintain clear and timely communication with candidates and line managers throughout the recruitment process
- Source potential candidates and screen applications to support Recruitment Advisors
- Assist with headhunting and day-to-day recruitment for business support functions
- Support with interviews and participate when required for business services and early careers roles
- Maintain and update candidate management systems as required
- Responsibility for managing the recruitment inbox, responding promptly to all internal and external enquiries
- Support recruitment marketing by optimising social media presence and promotional materials
- Ensure job descriptions and recruitment policies are all up to date and compliant with current employment legislation
- Manage the internal Employee Referral Scheme, ensuring communication and payments are handled accurately and efficiently
What will it take to be successful? We are seeking candidates with a strong administrative background, preferably with experience in recruitment or human resources. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently, with a proactive, organised, and methodical approach to their work. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service are essential. Strong communication skills and the confidence to work both independently and in a busy team environment are required. This role will play an active role in supporting our Early Careers Administrator by coordinating and attending with Career Fairs, Graduate Assessment Days, and related events, contributing to the successful delivery of our early talent initiatives. Flexibility to undertake UK-wide travel is essential to meet business needs.
