Are you a resilient Health & Safety professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment? Working for a market-leading manufacturing and logistics company, with sites all around the UK, you will be covering sites in the Hull / Grimsby area.
We need a strong character: someone who can navigate a demanding manufacturing environment, hold their own with senior site management, and drive a safety-first culture. Being a visible lead for all things Health, Safety, Environmental and Fire, such as delivering toolbox talks and training sessions, providing advice and guidance to managers.
Monitoring site compliance against company policy and the ISO 9001 / 14001 standards that the sites are accredited with. Conducting risk assessments and inspections, accident investigations, producing reports and statistics.
A competitive basic salary is on offer plus fuel paid for site travel (45p per mile) and company benefits including life assurance cover, health and wellbeing services, pension scheme, staff discounts and more!
Working hours Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm, you will primarily be based at your 'home' site on the outskirts of Hull then at Grimsby once per week.
NEBOSH General certificate as a minimum requirement (other qualifications like IOSH, IEMA, Lead Auditor, etc. are a bonus but not essential). Ideally, you will have experience in Fire safety management and conducting Fire Risk Assessments.
