Requirements
- Experience working as a Senior ICT Technician, Network Manager, Senior IT Technician, or in a similar school IT support role
- Background working within a school or education environment
- Good working knowledge of maintaining ICT hardware and software
- Working knowledge of maintaining networks
- Knowledge of switches, virtual and physical server environments, and backups
- Specific technical experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper‑V, and cloud technologies such as Office 365 and Azure
- Ideally, experience upgrading a school IT system
- Friendly and versatile with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Responsibilities
- Oversee the management, installation, maintenance, availability, and security of the schools curriculum and administrative ICT network
- Manage the schools ICT hardware and software infrastructure
- Manage school ICT support contracts, technical support, and emergency cover
- Deliver consultative 2nd and 3rd line technical support
