Role CASS Accountant aka Client Money Accountant, Cass Compliance Specialist, Client Money and Assets Accountant Location North Nottinghamshire – Hybrid Office / Home The Role: You will be a key player in maintaining our robust IBA (Insurance Broking Account) control environment and delivering insightful management information (MI) to support our IBA and management teams. Working closely with the IBA Controls & MI Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day activities in the IBA Controls Team, log CASS breaches, track unidentified cash amounts, and proactively drive efficiency across our processes. You’ll also act as the critical link between the IBA and Management Accounting teams, resolving accounting issues and ensuring smooth operations. What You’ll Do: Maintain compliance with FCA CASS regulations and provide guidance to ensure the IBA team meets required standards. Oversee the IBA Controls Team’s day-to-day activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of MI to internal stakeholders. Work closely with other IBA teams, identifying and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency. Serve as the main point of contact between the IBA and Management Accounting teams, facilitating smooth communication and issue resolution. Monitor and log CASS breaches, unidentified cash amounts, and support the team in timely resolution. What You Bring: Qualifications: ACCA/ACA qualified. Experience: Proven experience managing teams, including performance management, training, and development. Technical Skills: Working knowledge of broking systems like Acturis, Websure, SSP, Epic, and TAM.
