Are you a hands-on, commercially savvy Financial Controller who loves rolling up your sleeves and shaking up outdated processes? Or maybe an ambitious Finance Manager who is ready for their next career step up to FC? This small but scaling B2B service provider are searching for an energetic Financial Controller to step in right away and take charge of their core finance operations.  Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you won't just keep the numbers accurate; you’ll actively challenge historical ways of working, streamline messy workflows, and build bulletproof controls. This is a hybrid role with 3 office days split across 2 different sites - both easily commutable from Guildford, Woking, Farnham, Godalming, etc. Salary on offer £75,000 plus competitive benefits package. What you’ll be doing: Owning the month-end close, balance sheet substantiation, and statutory reporting.    Managing cash flow, working capital, and multi-entity reconciliations. Providing strong, supportive people management to lead, coach, and develop the finance team.    Constructively challenging operational assumptions and modernizing financial systems and processes.   What we’re looking for: A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with solid experience in a hands-on financial control role. A natural people leader who can bring out the best in a team and foster a culture of accountability. A change-maker: someone who isn’t afraid to question old habits, challenge workflows, and break historical ways of working. Comfort navigating high-volume, multi-entity, transaction-intensive environments. Background in travel, leisure, tourism, retail, or other fast-paced operational environment is a huge bonus.
