Our client is the leading trade union representing exclusively the interests of teachers and school leaders throughout the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Gibraltar.
All employees receive an excellent benefits package:
- Salary £27,862 (FTE: £46,438) per annum
- 21 hours per week working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (Hybrid Working)
- 50 days leave pro rata inclusive of closure days and public holidays
- Defined Benefit Pension Scheme
- Based in Exeter South West Regional Centre
They have an opportunity for an Organiser to join their South West team. Working with lay officers and staff colleagues, you will further develop the strength of the Union, by actively engaging with members and their employers, in the school environment to identify organising and campaigning opportunities, whilst also recruiting, training and mentoring new members, workplace representatives and lay officers.
Ideally with experience of the education sector, you will be able to use your experience of trade union organising, casework and campaigning, and your interpersonal and presentational skills, to inspire the confidence, commitment and participation of members.
