Overview
This organization is working with cutting‑edge technology in some of the most intense and challenging industries globally.
They're seeking an experienced engineering leader who has experience in manufacturing / production environments - ideally for complex electro‑mechanical products.
You will lead a team of eight manufacturing engineers, providing a high level of engineering support at this world‑class manufacturing facility near Middlesbrough.
Responsibilities
- Oversee production support, servicing, commissioning and FAT, new product introduction (NPI), introduction of new equipment and technologies, and achievement of departmental KPIs.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and constantly review ways to improve quality and efficiency.
- Lead safety and compliance efforts.
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments, ideally for complex electro‑mechanical products.
- Degree‑level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline such as "Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Manufacturing".
- Training in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or a similar methodology.
- Experience in regulated sectors such as Defence or Aerospace.
- Senior or Lead Engineer ready to take on a leadership role.
Benefits
Salary up to £65,000 depending on skills and experience. Includes generous holiday allowance, healthcare cover and enhanced sick pay.
