DevOps Engineer (SRE / Platform Engineer) at hireful. Global, enterprise level SaaS product company (500+ staff) seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a specialist team with emphasis on SRE as an engineering function focused on architecture, design & automation in a Java coding environment. The role is largely remote with occasional in-office presence.
Job title: DevOps Engineer (SRE / Platform Engineer)
Location: London HQ, largely remote; 1 day per month in the office for a team day.
Salary: £70K – £80K + 10% Bonus + Excellent benefits package
What we\\\’d need to see in your skill set
- Hands on Java development & coding experience.
- Any experience of Kubernetes.
- Commercial experience with Linux.
- Experience with git version control system.
Advantages / Nice to have
- Experience with infrastructure as code approach to managing deployments.
- Familiarity with configuration and deployment management (Scripting, Virtualisation, AWS, Unix, Java, Databases, Kubernetes, Docker etc).
- Experience working in a compliant systems environment such as ISO 27001, SOC or PCI-DSS.
- Incident, change & problem management experience.
- Knowledge of SQL relational databases.
