Are you an analytical, data-driven Quality Engineer looking to make an impact across a full manufacturing lifecycle?  This automotive manufacturing company in Coventry is seeking a dedicated quality professional to support internal teams, suppliers, and automotive OEM customers. You will drive end-to-end quality standards for active production and NPI projects. Acting as a core bridge between clients and manufacturing, you will maintain compliance, optimise control plans, and lead structured problem-solving initiatives. Salary circa £48-49,000 plus pension, generous holiday allowance, life assurance cover and healthcare services. Monday to Friday day shift, with early finish on Fridays. What You'll Be Doing: Quality Compliance & Auditing: Conduct regular audits ensuring adherence to ISO9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3 standards. New Project Introduction (NPI): Define quality control methods, gauging systems, control plans, and handle IMDS report submissions. Root Cause Problem Solving: Facilitate cross-functional investigations for customer, supplier, and internal quality issues using 8D methodology. Data & Statistical Analysis: Execute process capability and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) studies to guide fact-based decision-making. Customer Interface: Manage OEM customer portals, monitor quality KPIs, and foster key external and internal relationships. What We Are Looking For: Practical experience within an automotive or high-spec manufacturing quality environment. Proven expertise in 8D problem solving, MSA, SPC, and control plan management. Strong familiarity with IATF 16949 / VDA 6.3 frameworks and IMDS submissions. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
