Raising the standard for quality and safety. This is a pivotal role within a global foodservice company, providing premium equipment to customers within hospitality, retail, contract catering, and more.
You’ll be responsible for keeping quality front and centre, maintaining high safety standards, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across their UK operation. This role pays up to £45,000 depending on experience with 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and is working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. You'll be primarily based at their site in Coventry however there may be some occasional travel to customer sites around the UK or their HQ near Watford.
You will:
- Maintain and continuously improve quality management systems (including ISO implementation)
- Monitor product and process quality, identifying risks and improvement opportunities
- Investigate quality issues, incidents and near misses, ensuring robust corrective actions
- Support internal and external audits
- Develop and oversee health & safety policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments, audits and site inspections
- Promote a proactive safety culture through training and engagement
- Provide practical advice to managers and teams
- Prepare reports and updates for senior leadership
You should have:
- Proven experience in quality, compliance, safety, within an engineering environment
- A recognised H&S qualification e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH or similar
- Experience implementing and managing ISO standards
- Strong understanding of QMS and audit processes
- The confidence to influence managers and stakeholders at all levels
- Flexibility to travel within the UK when required
